Winter outdoor education will be held for NL students and staff Thursday and Friday, Feb. 8 & 9, 2017, based at North Lakeland School. All bus routes will operate as normal, transporting students to and from NL School, and regular school day hours will apply: 8:00 a.m. start, 3:30 p.m. bus departure. Information will be sent home with students and emailed to parents soon!
The annual 8th Grade Dinner will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Don Swanson commons, 5-8 p.m. Dinner will include: Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Cranberries, Salad, Rolls, Dessert, Coffee/Milk/Water. Tickets are available from an 8th grade student, the school office, or at the door the night of the dinner. Take-outs are available. The ever-popular raffle baskets will also be on hand the night of the dinner. Proceeds support the Class of 2018’s trip in June 2018.
Tuesday, January 16, 2018 — The ski trails were rolled, groomed and tracked Jan. 16. Excellent condition. Snowshoe trail is also open. The NL trailhead is located one mile off of County Hwy. K on Papoose Lake Road … just west of North Lakeland School. The trail system can also be accessed from the “Hockey Hut” located behind N.L. School. * There is also a ski area available on the former football field (west of the school building) which is lit nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
