NL Trails Update -- 12/17/14

The cross-country ski trails were packed today and are overall in good condition.  We received 3-5 inches of fresh snow, which was needed, after our past melt.  Our packed base on most of trails ranges from 4-6 inches.  We will be setting tracks for our "classic" skiers tomorrow.  Our trails need to firm, as signs of the recent melt still exist.  We do have some wet spots, which should freeze over later today.  Our bog was a bit more affected by the melt.  It can still be skied, but grasses are currently showing.

North Lakeland Trails - Grooming Update - 12/9/14
The cross-country ski trails were groomed and tracked Dec. 9, and are currently in VERY GOOD condition.  The forecasted warm-up this week and weekend may hinder our ability to groom until cooler conditions resume.  We hope everyone enjoys the trails and skiing they bring to the area.  We ask everyone to observe our rules to ensure skiing enjoyment.  Please, do not walk on groomed and tracked trails, and please, no dogs!
